Icelandic nature is the source of both struggles and successes. Fighting its powers as well as the sensible use of its resources has influenced our nations fate and this influence is visible in our culture. It is also visible in our individual relationships with the nature and our behavior towards it. There are many questions that rise when thinking about our relationship with the nature: What can we touch and how? Does nature, or part of it, belong to us? How much of it do we own? Can we buy a mountain? Is there such a thing as unspoiled nature? What is natural disturbance? Is a city part of nature? Is there nature in a city? From what materials are cities built?
The conclusion of this project was a platform for conversations.
